Stoneground Italian Kitchen

Stoneground Italian Kitchen occupies 249 E 400 S in Salt Lake City, just east of the downtown core. The kitchen works rustic Italian: Neapolitan style pizzas from the oven, fresh pasta, and a menu built to be ordered across the table.

Service is dinner only, Tuesday through Saturday, from five to nine on weeknights and five to ten on Friday and Saturday. Sunday and Monday are closed.

The rooftop seating is what regulars mention first when the weather cooperates, and a fireplace covers the other half of the year. A bar onsite pours cocktails, beer, wine, and hard liquor, with the wine list and dessert both drawing attention.

A private dining room is available for groups. Dinner reservations are recommended, small plates and vegetarian options are on the menu, takeout and delivery are available, parking is free lot and street plus paid lot, and wheelchair access covers the entrance, parking lot, restroom, and seating.
