Nibley Park School

Nibley Park School is a public school in the Salt Lake City School District, located at 2785 South 800 East in Salt Lake City’s Sugar House neighborhood. The school serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade. It operated as a kindergarten through eighth grade school for years, but on December 2, 2025 the Salt Lake City School District Board of Education voted to reconfigure Nibley Park as a kindergarten through sixth grade elementary school beginning in the 2026-27 school year, with seventh and eighth graders now attending Hillside Middle School. The district’s schools directory lists Nibley Park among its elementary schools. Enrollment was about 483 students across the wider grade range it served in the 2024-25 school year, with a student to teacher ratio near 15 to 1. Nibley Park offers Advanced Academics, an After School Program, a Counseling Center, and a Library Learning Center, and follows the Utah Core curriculum under the Salt Lake City School District’s Excellence and Equity vision.
