Parkview School is a Salt Lake City School District elementary school in the Glendale neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah, serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through grade 5. The school is led by Principal Dr. Kalina Potts, who describes Parkview’s mission as empowering every student to grow academically, socially, and emotionally within a safe, respectful community. Parkview offers a Pre-Kindergarten program, an Extended Learning Program for gifted and high ability students, and an After School Program, and it follows the Utah Core curriculum used across the district. For the 2024-2025 school year the school enrolled 371 students with a student to teacher ratio of about 14 to 1, lower than the Utah state average. GreatSchools rates Parkview 3 out of 10 based on Utah State Board of Education test score and attendance data. Sixth grade students who live in the Parkview boundary attend Glendale Middle School, though this feeder pattern was not independently confirmed on an official district source during this research pass.
